So I’m not sure exactly what the Urban Iditarod is, but I’m going to find out. It looks like just a great reason to get a bunch of folks together in the city and get crazy. Check out the piece of at Laughing Squid for all the info. For the most part it seems like you just have to show up with your team, a cart and twenty bucks at the Willy Mays statue in front of the ballpark at before 1P.M. Checking out pictures from the Urban Iditarods that take place around the country was enough to convince me that I need to see this for myself. I don’t know if I’ll rock the Lucha mask, but I may dig out the Ren Faire costume.
Scrap together a team and steal shopping cart. I’ll see you there.
